˿ƵAPPHillel Advisory Council Chair Receives Award

Paul Kravitz, ˿ƵAPPHillel Advisory Council chair, has received the 2019 JProStl Partnership Award. The award honors a volunteer leader who exemplifies professional excellence and dedication to their position, organization and the St. Louis Jewish community.

The award was presented at the 14th annual JProStl Recognition Luncheon held at the
St. Louis Jewish Community Center. More than 500 attendees gathered to celebrate the award winners.

“We are thrilled by this very fitting recognition of Kravitz’s tremendous work and dedication,” said Erin Schreiber, ˿ƵAPPHillel Manager. “He is a true role model for those who want to serve and lead with enduring impact.”

Kravitz co-led efforts to establish the Hillel chapter at ˿ƵAPP and has served as chair of its advisory council since 2013. Each year, hundreds of students find community, create Jewish connections and build leadership skills through ˿ƵAPPHillel.

In 2016, Kravitz helped bring the JCC Maccabi Games to St. Louis. The event, sponsored by ˿ƵAPP and ˿ƵAPPHillel, provided athletic, cultural and social opportunities for Jewish youth around the world. It hosted more than 2,000 athletes, coaches, parents, volunteers and spectators.

Kravitz has served ˿ƵAPPin a variety of roles including adjunct faculty in the John E. Simon School of business, faculty advisor and mentor and member of Maryville’s National Leadership Council. He received the ˿ƵAPP Volunteer of the Year Award in 2016 in honor of the numerous community partnerships he helped establish for the ˿ƵAPPcommunity.
