Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵAPP congratulates Nina Caldwell, EdD, vice president for student life<\/a>, and Stacy Hollins, PhD, associate professor of information systems<\/a>, who are honored as part of the 2017 Delux Power 100 awards, which recognize the St. Louis region\u2019s most inspiring and influential African American professionals.<\/p>\n

Delux<\/em> magazine, which sponsors the awards, notes that Power 100 honorees are \u201cthose who lead, inspire, innovate and demonstrate through their individual talents, the very best in St. Louis.\u201d<\/p>\n

Caldwell is recognized as a Distinguished Leader in the Delux 100 for exemplary leadership in the community at large. The award also honors Caldwell for transcending boundaries and achieving progressive levels of professional responsibility.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am honored to be receiving the Distinguished Leaders Award,\u201d Caldwell says. \u201cIt\u2019s a joy and a blessing to serve in the St. Louis Metropolitan community and to build opportunities for our youth who will become our future leaders.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Delux Power 100 honorees were announced during a gala held Dec. 17, and they were honored along with Distinguished Leaders who were announced earlier.<\/p>\n

Two Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵAPP alumni also received recognition in the Delux 100: Rosalyn Manahan, EdD, \u201910, assistant principal at Hazelwood East High School in Hazelwood, Mo., and Rodney Lewis, EdD, \u201910, principal of Ballwin Elementary School in Ballwin, Mo.<\/p>\n
